Services

Electrical services in California City & the high desert

Residential and commercial, from the meter to the last outlet.

Lot 01

Around the house

The everyday electrical work that makes a home work right, done neatly and explained in plain words.

Outlets & switches

A dead outlet, a switch that sparks or a kitchen that needs GFCI protection: we replace, add and upgrade outlets and switches, and we find out why one stopped working before we swap it. That includes 240-volt receptacles for dryers and ranges.

  • Outlet and switch replacement
  • GFCI and AFCI protection
  • Dryer and range receptacles
  • Added outlets where you need them
Ask about outlets & switches

Light fixtures

We install light fixtures inside and out: pendants, chandeliers, recessed lights, vanity lights, porch and security lighting. If the box isn’t rated for the fixture or the wiring is tired, we fix that too.

  • Fixture swaps and new fixtures
  • Recessed lighting
  • Porch, patio and security lights
  • Dimmers and switching
Ask about light fixtures

Ceiling fans

In the high desert a ceiling fan earns its keep. We hang new fans, replace old ones and add wall controls, always on a fan-rated box that can carry the weight and the wobble.

  • New and replacement fans
  • Fan-rated boxes and bracing
  • Wall controls and light kits
Ask about ceiling fans

Home wiring & rewiring

Any home wiring and rewiring: new circuits for a remodel or addition, rewiring damaged or outdated runs, and dedicated circuits for appliances, split-unit air conditioners and water heaters.

  • New and dedicated circuits
  • Remodel and addition wiring
  • Rewiring old or damaged runs
  • AC, water heater and appliance circuits
Ask about home wiring & rewiring

Troubleshooting & repairs

Breakers that keep tripping, outlets that went dead, lights that flicker: we trace the problem to its source, explain what we found and fix it right. Our customers have told us about shorts found fast and kitchens put right.

  • Tripping breakers and shorts
  • Dead outlets and circuits
  • Flickering or dimming lights
  • Repairs to pass inspection

Lot 02

Panels & power

The equipment where power enters your home, sized for how you live now and what you’ll add next.

Panel upgrades

If your panel is full, undersized, out of date or a brand with a known history of problems, we replace it with a new breaker panel sized for today’s loads, with the permit and inspection handled.

  • Panel replacement and upgrades
  • Breaker panel or fuse box repair
  • Capacity for AC, EV and solar
  • Permit and inspection
Ask about panel upgrades

Meters & service equipment

Our own job photos include a new meter/main combination on a new build and a three-position meter bank with an overhead mast. Service work is coordinated with the utility and inspected before power is restored.

  • Meter/main combinations
  • Multi-unit meter banks
  • Service masts and service changes
Ask about meters & service equipment

Subpanels for garages & sheds

A subpanel puts breakers where you work: in the garage, a workshop or a shed out back. We size the feeder, set the panel and wire the lights and outlets.

  • Garage and workshop subpanels
  • Shed and outbuilding power
  • Disconnects for equipment
Ask about subpanels for garages & sheds
Lot 03

EV, solar & backup

Newer equipment that leans on your electrical system, installed so it all works together.

EV chargers

We install electric car chargers and the 240-volt circuits they need, check your panel can carry the load, and clean up after ourselves. One customer told us we even repaired the drywall.

  • Level 2 charger installs
  • Dedicated 240-volt circuits
  • Panel load check
  • Garage and outdoor mounting
Ask about ev chargers

Standby generators

Our job photos include a standby generator set on a pad with its transfer switch wired in. A transfer switch keeps generator power from feeding back onto the utility lines, which protects line workers and your equipment.

  • Standby generator wiring
  • Automatic transfer switches
  • Pad, conduit and feeders
Ask about standby generators

Solar inverter connections

Our job photos include wiring for solar inverters. Ask us about connecting solar equipment and making sure your panel has room for it.

  • Inverter and disconnect wiring
  • Panel capacity for solar
