Local knowledge
One utility, several permit offices.
Southern California Edison serves the whole area. Permits depend on where you are: California City, Tehachapi, Lancaster and Palmdale run their own building departments, while Mojave, Rosamond, Boron and the mountain communities are unincorporated and go through Kern County, and places like Quartz Hill and Lake Los Angeles go through Los Angeles County. We tell you up front what your job needs.
